고아성 '한국이 싫어서', 8월 개봉 확정…무주산골영화제서 라이브 공개

영화 '한국이 싫어서'(감독 장건재)가 8월 개봉을 확정한다.

The movie ‘Cause I hate Korea’ will be released in August.

 

배급 ㈜디스테이션은 5일 이 같이 밝히며 '한국이 싫어서'의 티저 포스터를 공개했다.

The distribution company revealed a teaser poster of the movie, announcing the release date on Wednesday.

'한국이 싫어서'는 앞서 제28회 부산국제영화제 개막작으로 처음 공개돼 호평을 이끈 작품으로 제12회 무주 산골영화제 개막작으로도 선정됐다.

The movie ‘Cause I hate Korea’ was initially released in the 28th BIFF opening ceremony and drew a lot of favorable comments. It was also selected as an opening film in the 12th Muju countryside film festival.

특별히 무주 산골영화제에서는 영화와 라이브 공연이 결합한 '한국이 싫어서: 라이브'로 공개될 예정이다.

‘Cause I hate Korea: Live’ which is a combination of a movie and a live performance will be released especially in Muju countryside film festival.

이 영화는 20대 후반의 계나(고아성)가 자신의 행복을 찾아서 어느 날 갑자기 직장과 가족, 남자 친구를 뒤로하고 홀로 뉴질랜드로 떠나는 이야기를 그린다.

This movie describes the story of Ghena(Ahsung Go) who is in her late 20s suddenly goes on a trip to New Zealand alone to find her happiness, leaving her job, family, and boyfriend behind.

작가 장강명의 동명 베스트셀러 소설을 원작으로 고아성, 주종혁, 김우겸 등 연기력을 인정받은 젊은 배우들이 출연했으며 '한여름의 판타지아' 장건재 감독이 연출했다.

The movie was based on the same name of the best-selling novel by writer GangMung Jang. Young actors acknowledged their acting including Ahsung Go, Jonghuck Ju, WooGyum Kim were casted and director Gunjae Jang of ‘Fantasia in summer’ directed the movie.

 

개봉 확정과 더불어 공개된 '한국이 싫어서'의 티저 포스터는 스티커로 '캐꾸'(캐리어 꾸미기)를 한 젊은 감각이 돋보이는 이미지로 시선을 사로잡는다.

Along with confirmation of release, a teaser poster of ‘Cause I hate Korea’  decorated with stickers catches people’s sight with its young sense and image.

캐리어에 붙어있는 비행기, 펭귄, 나침반, 해외 도시의 이정표 등 상징적인 스티커가 여행의 분위기를 풍긴다.

Symbolic stickers including a plane, penguin, compass, milestone of a foreign city, etc. on the career escalate the mood of a trip.

 

'나는 새롭게 시작하기로 했다'라는 강렬한 카피와 더불어 주인공 계나의 떠남과 출발이라는 영화 속 상황을 직관적으로 보여준다.

The intuitive copy saying ‘I decided to restart.’ directly shows the situation of the movie, such as leave and departure of the main character Ghena.

 

한편 '한국이 싫어서'는 제12회 무주 산골영화제의 개막작으로 선정돼 '한국이 싫어서: 라이브'로 관객들을 만난다.

On the other hand, ‘Cause I hate Korea’ will meet audiences with a form of ‘Cause I hate Korea: Live’ at the 12th Muju countryside film festival as an opening film.

'한국이 싫어서: 라이브'는 영화를 라이브 공연과 결합해 무주 산골영화제만을 위해 만든 융복합 영화공연으로 장건재 감독이 총연출을, 권현정 음악감독이 음악 연출을 맡았다.

‘Cause I hate Korea: Live’ is a combination of a movie and a live performance which was made exclusively for Muju countryside film festival with director Gunjae Jang and music producer Hyunjung Kwun.

극 중 고아성의 동생 미나로 출연해 배우로 활약한 뮤지션 김뜻돌과 함께, 이현송 밴드가 영화음악을 라이브로 선사한다.

Musician Ddutdol Kim who played the role of Mina, a younger brother of Ahsung Go in the movie, will perform  in live with Hyunsong Lee Band.

'한국이 싫어서: 라이브'는 5일 오후 8시 메인 스테이지에서 야외 상영된다.

‘Cause I hate Korea: Live’ will be screened outdoors on the main stage at 8PM on Wednesday.
